In collaboration with Architect Richard Charlesworth, completed while working at Intrinsik Architecture.
A couple fell in love with a property in Bridger Canyon with sweeping views of the mountains. They immediately knew the existing house would not meet the needs of their growing family. When purchased, the home had many decorative details that didn’t appeal to their modern aesthetic. Without adding any square footage, two bedrooms and a bathroom were added. The once dark basement became flooded with light once windows were carved out at the new stairwell. Simplifying the building details helped place focus on the surrounding views.
